I had a hard time getting through this book. It was a little to fluffy. There's no action in it until about the second to last chapter. I like her other holiday mystery books, but this one fell a little flat. Spent more time talking about cookies (seriously, how are these people not horribly overweight?) and trying to find out ways to prevent the cat from killing the Christmas tree. And the reason why the person got killed, I didn't think it was very interesting. The book does come with lots of recipes, so you cooks out there will probably enjoy that.
